National School Lunch Program

During normal operations, Maercker School District 60 participates in the National School Lunch Program. The National School Lunch Program is a federally-assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free breakfast and lunches to children each school day.

Families who believe they may qualify are encouraged to apply for free or reduced cost meal benefits.

Meal Costs (includes 1 Milk):

  • Breakfast - $1.70

  • Reduced Breakfast - $0.30

  • Lunch - $3.20

  • Reduced Lunch - $0.40

The District offers the option of purchasing an extra milk on a daily basis for $0.60, Students at Westview (grades 6th-8th) and Maercker School (grades 3rd-5th) also have ala carte choices for additional purchase. We use the USDA Smart Snacks in School Standards for all items available for purchase. Students can only purchase items if they have a balance to cover the cost. Click the USDA Smart Snack In School Standards link above for more information. Your student(s) food service purchases and payments can be viewed through Family Access.
